'Great Honor': Trump Touts 40% African-American Approval Rating In Poll

President Trump on Sunday touted his approval rating among African-Americans.
He tweeted: "New Fox Poll shows a '40% Approval Rating by African Americans for President Trump, a record for Republicans.' Thank you, a great honor!"
While Trump did not provide a link to the poll in question, he may have been referencing a recent opinion piece by Deroy Murdock on Foxnews.com, which states, "Rasmussen's tracking poll Monday found Trump's approval among blacks at a record-high 40 percent, versus 50 percent nationwide."
According to Rasmussen, which some have argued has a conservative bias, Trump's approval rating on Monday, October 29, shows a 40 percent approval among blacks. The post included the comment, "Black Voter Approval at Record High."
Trump's tweet comes just days after Vanity Fair published a piece where Trump's embattled former attorney and fixer, Michael Cohen, claims the president used racist language on a number of occasions in the past years.
Cohen is quoted as saying about a largely Caucasian rally from 2016: "I told Trump that the rally looked vanilla on television. Trump responded, 'That's because black people are too stupid to vote for me.'"
Cohen also claims Trump said to him in another conversation: "Name one country run by a black person that's not a s**thole...Name one city."
