President Trump on Wednesday celebrated his recent 50% approval rating with a tweet. It stated, "Working hard, thank you!" and included an image of Trump in front of a "Promises Made, Promises Kept" sign and the words "50% Approval" in giant letters.
The 50% approval rating comes from conservative-leaning Rasmussen Reports' daily tracking poll. Twitter, of course, couldn't contain itself. One person wrote, "Your approval rating is 38% according to @Gallup," while another stated, "50% of Republicans."
Months ago, at a rally in Tampa, Florida, Trump told his audience, "polls are fake, just like everything else."
