Workers in Hong Kong clear tree debris post-Typhoon Mangkhut

Clean-up efforts were underway in Hong Kong on September 19 following Severe Typhoon Mangkhut's landfall near the city on Sunday.

This video, filmed in a residential area in Tai Wai, New Territories, shows workers clearing the road of trees that had collapsed during the storm.

According to local media, more than 1,000 sections of road have been blocked off by trees or debris, causing major disruption to transport. Hundreds of buses have been cancelled or rerouted, with ferry services suspended.

Nearly 40,000 customers suffered blackouts and power when the storm struck, and school remained closed on Monday and Tuesday.
