Police search BMW Korea offices as yet other BMW catches fire
  • 6 years ago
Yet another BMW has caught fire in South Korea, this time in Seoul.
It was a gasoline powered 320i, a model not included in the list of 42 diesel models produced between 2011 and 2016 that are being recalled by BMW Korea.
With dozens of their cars bursting into flames, BMW Korea is being probed by the police into the possible concealment of defects.
More than two dozen police officers searched BMW Korea's offices on Thursday.
This comes as thousands of BMW owners are taking part in a lawsuit against the German autogiant, demanding compensation worth more than 13 thousand U.S. dollars a person.
