The 320i, which uses gasoline, is not included in the 42 diesel models produced between 2011 and 2016 that are being recalled by BMW Korea.
With dozens of their products catching fire, the company is being probed by the police who launched investigations into the possible concealment of defects.
30 officers from Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency started their search of BMW Korea's offices at 9:30 am local time.
The police promised to do everything possible to seek out evidence linked to the blazing vehicles.
