S. Korea and NASA to launch joint investigation on fine dust

The South Korean government has again teamed up with NASA to try and find a concrete reason for the high levels of fine dust that have blanketed Korea recently.
Their first joint research took place in 2016, using planes to observe fine dust concentrations, and this second one will take place in 2021 using satellite observation.
The government hopes that once the U.S. verifies the cause of fine dust pollution, the conflicts over fine dust arriving from other countries such as China will be resolved.
