The system --- which is weakening -- is moving in a northeast direction at a speed of 30 kilometers an hour,... to the eastern coast of nation.
Soulik has now moved out of Chungcheongbuk-do Province.

Si-young, how's the weather looking down there?

Well, Mark.
The eye of Typhoon Soulik passed through Daejeon and also Chungcheongbuk-do Province.
As you can see, it's only raining lightly here right now,... and wind is weak.
But a typhoon advisory is STILL in place.
The weather agency forecasts up to 80 millimeters of rainfall in the area.

In nearby Chungcheongnam-do Province, about 90 schools are closed for the day,... middle and high school students are likely to go to school later than usual.
In Sejong, all schools are shut down.

The typhoon's trajectory has shifted from its earlier projection.
The weather agency forecasts that Soulik will hit Gangneung at around noon before moving into the East Sea.
