A lady in Jeju Island, South Korea was seen today (August 23) braving the stormy conditions as Typhoon Soulik battered the south of the country.

Footage showed the lady attempting to cross the road while shielding herself from the gale-force winds with an umbrella.

Typhoon Soulik has made landfall around most of the Korean peninsula and neighbouring Japan, soon to be followed by its "twin" typhoon Cimaron.
