After being discharged from the hospital... the 12 boys and their footbal coach rescued from a flooded cave in Thailand... held a press conference... during which they recounted their ordeal... and thanked the international rescue team.
Choi Si-young has more.
The rescued boys appeared before the press in Chiang Rai, all wearing the kit of their football team, the Wild Boars. One of the boys described how they had survived in the flooded cave.

"While we were waiting, we kept looking for a way out and looking for water to drink. We drank water that was dripping down the cave walls."

The team's coach said there was no food at all in the cave,... but the team vowed not to fall into despair; rather they decided fight against the situation.

The doctor who's been taking care of the boys said all of them are in good health.
They had regained some weight, their blood tests were fine, and they were mentally strong.

Now that they have been discharged from the hospital, the boys said they will return home and hold no more interviews. They displayed gratitude to the international rescue team and expressed their condolences to the Thai Navy Seal who died during the rescue efforts.

"We feel really sorry, he was very brave. When we heard he had died, everyone was shocked. We couldn't believe it had happened, everybody was sad."
