It's been revealed that South Korea's National Assembly spent over 21 million U.S. dollars on "special activities" expenses from 2011 to 2013.
The information was finally revealed on Wednesday,... three years after a civic group filed a disclosure request.
The figures were included in the more than 15-hundred pages of statements that were made public.
"Special expenses" cover funds used for lawmakers' travel, food and entertainment.
There have been mounting questions over where and how the assembly's budget is being spent,... as the civic group says parliament should prove how it uses the various expenses or cut them.
