South Korea, U.S., Japan to hold North Korea talks in Tokyo

South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha will visit Tokyo on Sunday to meet her U.S. and Japanese counterparts,... following U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's visit to North Korea this week.
Pompeo is scheduled to depart for Pyongyang later on Thursday.
Seoul's Foreign Ministry says Kang will hold two-way talks with Pompeo to receive details of his trip to Pyongyang,... and to discuss future steps to achieve peace and denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula.
She will also hold trilateral talks that include Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono.
With Kono,... Kang plans to exchange views on issues of mutual interest, including South Korea-Japan relations and the situation on the Korean peninsula.
