North Korea to hold parliamentary meeting in April ahead of talks with S. Korea, U.S.

North Korea is holding a Supreme People's Assembly meeting next month.
The Supreme People's Assembly is usually held once or twice a year,... to decide on changes in the law, personnel reshuffles and the national budget.
In 2012, the Assembly announced North Korea was a nuclear state... and last year, Kim Jong-un was named as the first secretary of North Korea's ruling Workers' Party.
This assembly comes ahead of inter-Korean summit talks in late April... and Washington-Pyongyang talks in May... drawing attention to whether Pyongyang will announce any changes to its nuclear weapons development... or improving relations with Seoul and Washington.
