Hawaii's Kilauea volcano is reported to have produced enough lava over the past 50 days to fill 100-thousand Olympic-size swimming pools.
USA Today reported Thursday the figure amounts to 250 million cubic meters of lava, making last month's eruption one of the largest Hawaii has seen in decades.
Since May 3rd Kilauea has continuously erupted, destroying nearly 600 homes and forcing over 2-thousand people to evacuate.
