The Kilauea volcano in Hawaii has destroyed more than 35 homes and other buildings as it continued to spew lava on Monday - four days after it first erupted.
More than 17-hundred people on Big Island, which was also struck by a magnitude-6.9 earthquake on Friday, have been told to evacuate.
Toxic gas is also coming out of about ten volcanic vents known as fissures, which have opened since Thursday's eruption.
Officials say that no deaths or major injuries have been reported so far.
