A civic group here in South Korea might get the go-ahead to cross the border to discuss inter-Korean exchanges.
According to a unification ministry spokesperson,... last week, a team dedicated to building inter-Korean ties... received an invitation from up North to visit Pyongyang from June 20th to the 23rd.
The purpose: to discuss cooperation in implementing the April 27 Panmunjom Declaration,... and arrange joint events to expand cross-border exchanges.
The ministry is conducting a thorough review on various aspects including the size of the party, before reaching a decision.
