Washington's special representative for North Korea, Stephen Biegun, visited South Korea's foreign affairs ministry to discuss the latest developments surrounding the peninsula.
After first meeting minister Kang Kyung-wha,... Biegen held the Seoul-Washington working-group meeting with his counterpart Lee Do-hoon.
While details of the meeting are not out yet,... it was originally expected to focus on South Korea's plans to send humanitarian food aid to the North,... but Pyeongyang's recent firings of projectiles are likely to have topped the agenda.
Biegun is also expected to visit Seoul's Unification Ministry and the Blue House this afternoon.
