Now, to follow up on yesterday's historic North Korea-U.S. summit, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will arrive in South Korea tonight, Wednesday, to brief President Moon Jae-in.
Tomorrow morning, Pompeo will head to the Blue House to give President Moon a detailed account of the Singapore summit and discuss ways that Seoul and Washington can work together.
He'll then meet with South Korea's Foreign Minister, Kang Kyung-wha.
Pompeo and Kang are also scheduled to hold a joint meeting with their Japanese counterpart Kono Taro, followed by a joint press conference.
After his time in Seoul, Pompeo will fly to Beijing to discuss U.S.-China relations and other regional issues.
The Japanese foreign minister will stay in Seoul a little longer for a working lunch with his South Korean counterpart... to talk about ways to improve their countries' bilateral ties.
