Doctors and security guards clashed with family members of a dengue patient in Delhi’s RML Hospital on Wednesday.
The incident occurred after a doctor slapped a dengue patient for hurling abuses.
According to the patient’s cousin, the fight started due to a verbal spat between the patient and the doctor. He said his cousin was vomiting blood and he screamed and hurled abuses because the staff did not 'entertain' them. This led to an altercation between the doctors and guards resulting in a brawl.
The incident was recorded by an onlooker.
Police officers were seen dispersing the crowd later on.
