Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif hailed Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani and the Kashmir uprising in a debate at the 71st session of the UN General Assembly. Keeping Kashmir as the central theme on Wednesday night, he added that India has posed unacceptable preconditions to engage in a dialogue. He also said that Pakistan will share a dossier containing detailed information and evidence of the violation of human rights by Indian forces in PoK. Nawaz added that the brutalities will not suppress the spirit of Kashmiris but intensify their anger and determination to end India’s occupation of Kashmir.

Sharif raised the Kashmir issue with almost every world leader - including those from the US, the UK, Japan and Turkey - on Wednesday. He sought their intervention to resolve the matter.
