This week in DVB Debate, the studio asks “How lawful is the riot control practiced by the police?”
All the panel agreed that the way used by the government to control the students protest was unlawful. However, the spokeperson of the President claimed that the action was lawful.

The law that the government refers to is the Article 127 and 128 of criminal procedures which was dated back more than 100 years ago under the British colonial time.
