N. Korea accuses U.S. of worsening situation on peninsula

North Korea had something to say about the alleged deployment of THAAD to South Korea as well.
It blamed the U.S. for stoking tensions on the Korean peninsula.
North Korea's ruling Workers' Party newspaper, the Rodong Sinmun, said Tuesday... that the U.S. is doing this on purpose... so that it can justify its actions of deploying the missile defense system in the Asia Pacific.
The daily also accused Washington of wanting to become a main strategic power in the region... and condemned the ongoing Korea-U.S. training military drills.
It called the exercise a war game conducted to purposely heighten tensions on the Korean peninsula.
