Police and protesters clashed outside of the Ukrainian presidential administration building as a group tried to break police lines on the evening of December 1. Up to 100,000 Ukrainians marched on Sunday, chanting “Revolution” and calling for early elections in the hope of removing President Viktor Yanukovych, who recently rejected an EU trade deal.
