O Breath of God, breathe on us now - Chris Lawton at Marton United Reformed Church, Blackpool

Another of me playing the Compton electrone organ model 357 installed at Marton United Reformed Church, Blackpool.

Im playing the beautiful hymn 'O Breath of God, breathe on us now' which is a great hymn for being able to demonstrate some of the different tone colours available. The first verse starts with the 8ft Flute on the lower manual accompanied by the 8ft Salicional on the upper manual. In the second verse, the effective Clarinet 8ft stop is heard.

Many thanks to organist David Windle for kindly allowing me access to this Compton organ and for finding out about its history.
