Me playing the organ at St James Church, Elmers End in the London borough of Bromley.

The organ was built for the church in 1935 by the John Compton Organ Company and consists of 4 ranks pipes all fully enclosed plus the patent 32ft polyphonic bass all played from a detached stopkey console- typical Compton practice. The organ is a wonderful example of the work of the Compton company in the 1930s and happily retains its original specification:

For this first video im playing the hymn 'My God, how wonderful thou art' to the tune 'Westminster (Turle)' which shows off the main tone colours on the organ as well as some more softer registrations and also the tremulant.
