Nearer, my God, to thee - Chris Lawton at St Edmund's Catholic Church, Walkden, Manchester

Another of me playing the ex Court Cinema, Wigan Compton organ now at St Edmund's Catholic Church in Walkden, Salford, Manchester.
When the organ was removed from the cinema and installed here in 1962, all of the percussions and novelty sound effects were removed apart from the Chimes. Being in church and wanted to demonstrate this stop, I have chosen the beautiful hymn 'Nearer, my God, to thee' to the tune 'Bethany'.
At the time of making this video, the church have purchased a Rodgers digital electronic organ and are currently looking for someone or a group to buy this organ.
Many thanks to the church officials for allowing me access to this lovely little Compton organ.
