Plaid Cymru leader Rhun Ap Iortwerth has said he wants to see a new law enacted in the Houses of Parliament that guarantees fair funding for Wales. He argues that recent post-Brexit funding systems have made Wales a billion pounds worse off, and said it is significant and makes a big difference to Wales.

First Minister Mark Drakeford has clarified what will happen now that the 20 miles per hour law change in Wales will be properly enforced. He said only those driving ‘well above’ the speed limit will be prosecuted and those genuinely confused by the speed limits would not be fined for breaking limits.

Former Wales and Lions rugby legend JPR Williams has died aged 74 according to a statement from his family, saying he died peacefully after a short illness. The full back is one of the biggest names in Welsh rugby history, gaining 55 caps while winning three 5 nations grand slams and two lions tours back in 1971 and 1974.
