Roughly a thousand new jobs are hoped to be created over the next 5 years as an international digital company said it was expanding in Cardiff. Price Waterhouse Cooper or PWC have 500 staff in South Wales, and by 2028 want to have an extra thousand digital and technology based jobs at the company.

The leader of Denbighshire council has said that avoiding bankruptcy is their main aim moving forward as they anticipate over 20 million pounds shortfall between 2024 and 2025. A private letter written to all the other councillors also said that increasing council tax and cutting jobs could be necessary to survival.

Tributes have been paid to a 92 year old man who has died after being involved in a road traffic collision. John Symonds was riding his bike in Pontypridd when the incident happened on 21st September. His daughter thanked emergency and hospital staff and said he will be greatly missed.
