Hub Snatch Triple York 2nd Gen 45lber

Earlier this week, @zacharyrmullins had asked me about older Hub feats. I know that Gordon Venables, member of the York Barbell Co. gang, would talk of Hub Lifting feats in his monthly "Incredible But True" series in Strength and Health. This feature was based on the then newly popular newspaper feature Ripley's "Believe it or Not." Venables also was the designer of this York 2nd Gen Olympic 45lb plate l'm using. Today, l sent Zac a piece about lifter Tony Golic, who in 1940 Hub Snatched the York 2nd Gen Olympic 45s simultaneously THREE TIMES! l'm only doing it with one plate, BUT it is the first time getting three reps! Praise the Lord! The Hub is just under 5" across the top. Now, time to get that left hand up to par! God Bless!
