Six men so far have been arrested for the murder of Bailey Atkinson who was stabbed to death in Walsall town centre. Bailey was attacked on the High Street during the early hours of 28 January. He was taken to hospital, but died of his injuries.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray as the investigation into the Boxing Day murder of Cody Fisher at Birmingham's Crane nightclub continues. Three men have now been charged with the murder of Cody. The club has since had its license revoked.

The Commonwealth Games Raging Bull has been given a permanent home in Birmingham City Centre. It was moved to a car park in Ladywood in September for maintenance and also while a more permanent home was sought for it. Now, the mayor has said the raging bull will be stationed at New Street Station from this summer.
