Birmingham headlines 16 January: Two arrested following Smethwick shooting
Two men aged 23 and 24 have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting in Smethwick last Thursday. Two men in their 40s were treated for injuries after gunshots were fired at a shop on Bertram Road. Police are appealing for more information.

A man has been seriously injured following a crash in Birmingham city centre on Sunday morning. The collision took place by the Aston Expressway near to Corporation Street in just before 5am. The pedestrian in his 20s was taken to hospital and the driver was spoken to by officers
