Birmingham headlines 07 February: Man charged following Handsworth shooting

A man has been charged after another man was shot in Handsworth last Thursday. The victim sustained serious injuries which are not believed to be life threatening. Police executed a warrant and recovered a firearm. Tyrone Solomon, aged 53, has now been charged with attempted murder.
West MIdlands Police have arrested four men in relation to a County Lines operation. Two properties in Washwood Heath were searched leading to the recovery of class A drugs and mobile phones suspected of being involved in criminality.
