A teenager has died and three people have been injured in a crash in Aldridge. A car is believed to have collided with a tree just before midnight. It's believed that traffic officers had seen the vehicle moments earlier and there was a short pursuit. Police are urging those with information to come forward.

Police seized approximately £600,000 worth of cannabis plants after finding a factory in Solihull on Wednesday. Solihull police revealed that they located the large scale cannabis factory in Chelmsley Wood during the raid, and also found that electricity has been abstracted.
