Birmingham headlines 20 February: Father in Walsall found guilty of son's manslaughter

A father from Walsall has been found guilty for killing his son. Kairo died at six months old in his mothers arms at Birmingham's Children Hospital in February 2020. David Hollick was found of manslaughter following a three week trial at Birmingham Crown Court.

A second man has been charged in connection with a shooting following the recovery of a gun in Bartley Green. Kayne Davis from Hockley has been charged with four offences. He has been remanded and is set to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on March 5th.

A Birmingham- based technology company won a hat trick of wins at the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce Awards. Word 360, headquartered in Edgbaston, is a language technology company co-founded in 2013 by husband and wife team Tiku Chauhan and Kavita Parmar.
