गुरु पूर्णिमा पर्व 13 जुलाई को है। हिंदू परंपराओं में यह दिन आध्यात्मिक गुरुओं की पूजा और सम्मान का विशेष दिन होता है। यह दिन महाभारत के रचयिता कृष्ण द्वैपायन व्यास का जन्म भी हुआ था। इसलिए इसे गुरु पूर्णिमा कहते हैं। उन्होंने चारों वेदों की भी रचना की थी। इस कारण उन्हें वेदव्यास भी कहते हैं। उन्हें आदिगुरु कहा जाता है और उनके सम्मान में गुरु पूर्णिमा को व्यास पूर्णिमा नाम से भी जाना जाता है।कहा गया है कि गुरु से दीक्षा लिए बिना जप, पूजा वगैरह सब निष्फल जाता है। इसलिए गुरु दीक्षा के तहत गुरु अपने शिष्य को एक मंत्र और जीवन उपयोगी वाक्य देते हैं। जब आप उलझनों में फंसे हों, कोई फैसला न ले पा रहे हों तो गुरु ऐसे मुश्किल वक्त का सामना करने के लिए रास्ता दिखाते हैं। आईए जानते है अगर गुरु नहीं है तो इस दिन क्या करें ।
