Ashadh Guru Purnima: Describing the glory of Guru in Hinduism, it has been said that the place of Guru is higher than Gobind i.e. God. Although there is a special place of full moon in Hinduism, but the full moon of Ashadh month is the highest place. Because the full moon of this day is called Guru Purnima or Ashadha Purnima. The festival of Guru Purnima is celebrated on the full moon day of Ashadh month. Maharishi Ved Vyas was born on Ashadh Purnima. That is why it is also called Vyas Purnima. This year the festival of Guru Purnima will be celebrated on 24 July 2021. By doing some special measures on the day of Guru Purnima, the blessings of the Guru are obtained. Ashadh Guru Purnima: हिंदू धर्म में गुरु की महिमा बताते हुए कहा गया है कि गुरु का स्थान गोबिंद अर्थात भगवान से ऊंचा होता है. वैसे तो हिंदू धर्म पूर्णिमा का विशेष स्थान होता है परन्तु आषाढ़ मास की पूर्णिमा का सर्वोच्च स्थान है.क्योंकि इस दिन की पूर्णिमा को गुरु पूर्णिमा या आषाढ़ पूर्णिमा कहते हैं. आषाढ़ मास की पूर्णिमा को गुरु पूर्णिमा (Guru Purnima) का पर्व मनाया जाता है. आषाढ़ पूर्णिमा को महर्षि वेद व्यास का जन्म हुआ था. इस लिए इसे व्यास पूर्णिमा भी कहते हैं. इस साल गुरु पूर्णिमा का पर्व 24 जुलाई 2021 मनाया जाएगा. गुरु पूर्णिमा के दिन कुछ विशेष उपाय करने से गुरु का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त होता है. परन्तु कुछ ऐसे कार्य भी है जिसे करने से गुरु नाराज होते हैं. इस लिए आइये जानें गुरु पूर्णिमा को क्या करें और क्या न करें?
