The India Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding the new cyclonic storm Asani, the Meteorological Department said on Thursday that the first cyclone of this year is going to develop in the Bay of Bengal around March 21. If this cyclone turns into a storm, it will be called Asani. Its name has been suggested by Sri Lanka. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that it may move towards Bangladesh and adjoining North Myanmar.

The India Meteorological Department ने नए चक्रवाती तूफान आसनी को लेकर अलर्ट जारी किया है, मौसम विभाग ने गुरुवार को कहा कि इस साल का पहला चक्रवात 21 मार्च के आसपास बंगाल की खाड़ी में विकसित होने वाला है। यदि यह चक्रवात तूफान में बदला तो इसे Asani कहा जाएगा। इसका यह नाम श्रीलंका द्वारा सुझाया गया है। मौसम विभाग (IMD) ने अनुमान लगाया है कि यह बांग्लादेश और उससे सटे उत्तरी म्यामांर की ओर बढ़ सकता है।
