Cyclone Asani over the Bay of Bengal has taken a severe form. Since Sunday evening, the storm intensified into a severe cyclonic storm. IMD Kolkata has informed that after a few hours there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorm in Howrah, Kolkata, Hooghly and West Midnapore districts of West Bengal. While issuing a warning, the Meteorological Department has advised people to stay at a safe place during the storm. Due to this storm, rain activities have started.

बंगाल की खाड़ी (Bay of Bengal)के ऊपर बना चक्रवात असानी (Cyclone Asani)ने भीषण रूप घारण कर लिया है। रविवार शाम से तूफान तेज होकर एक भीषण चक्रवाती तूफान में बदल गया है. IMD कोलकाता ने जानकारी दी है कि कुछ घंटों के बाद पश्चिम बंगाल (Bengal) के हावड़ा, कोलकाता (Kolkata), हुगली और पश्चिम मिदनापुर जिलों में आंधी तूफान के साथ बारिश की संभावना है। वहीं मौसम विभाग ने चेतावनी जारी करते हुए आंधी-तूफान के दौरान लोगों को सुरक्षित जगह पर रहने की सलाह दी गई है। इस तूफान के चलते बारिश की गतिविधियां शुरु हो गई है।
