Bajrang Dal activist murder: Curfew and curbs in Shivamogga as situation stays tense

Karnataka Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Bajrang Dal activist Harsha that took place in the Bharati Colony area on Sunday. At least 20 people were injured and around 50 vehicles torched during the funeral procession of a Bajrang Dal worker, forcing police to resort to mild-lathi-charge and open teargas shells here on Monday. Police have imposed a curfew till 6 am on Wednesday in Shivamogga city as a precautionary measure.
