Jharkhand Brings In Covid-19 Curbs, Goa To Impose Night Curfew After Crowds Throng Beaches & Streets

Amid the rising cases of Covid-19 driven by the Omicron variant, schools, coaching institutes, colleges in Jharkhand will remain shut till January 15. The Chief Minister’s office tweeted, “Parks, swimming pools, gyms, zoos, tourist places, sports stadiums, schools, colleges, coaching institutes will remain closed till January 15, 2022.” The Chief Minister’s office further tweeted, “Till January 15, 2022, cinema halls, restaurants, bars and shopping malls will open with 50% capacity.” Meanwhile, on January 3, Goa recorded 631 cases.
