News coming in from Nuh district of Haryana. A fresh tension has gripped in the district of Nuh, when eight women were injured after some children allegedly threw stones at those women from a mosque on Thursday night.

The Superintendent of Police of Nuh district, Narendra Bijarniya gave a statement to the media. The SP said that the police received footage of children throwing stones at a group of women who were on their way to prayer.

The statement of the SP reads;
""There was some construction work going on in the mosque. The women were going for kuan poojan when they were hit by stones. We will question the children seen in the footage.""

The police are interrogating all three boys to understand why this incident happened. According to police, all three children are minors. The police had called leaders from both communities in the morning.

According to the SP, both the sides were pacified as tension gripped the area following the incident. But, now, there is complete peace in the area. The police have registered an FIR in connection with the matter.

The DSP of Nuh stated that the investigation is underway and action will be taken against those involved. According to ANI report, the people in Nuh have protested, demanding an investigation into the incident. Police have appealed to the public to maintain peace.

Back in July-August month, Nuh had seen communal clashes when Braj Mandal Yatra was attacked by a mob. Those clashes were so intense that they spread to neighbouring Gurugram and other places.
