In a first sign of a truce, the Mizoram government said it will relook at the FIR registered against Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma over the recent clashes at the interstate border.

Mizoram chief secretary Lalnunmawia Chuaungo said he and Chief Minister Zoramthanga were not aware of the FIR launched against Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Lalnunmawia Chuaungo's statement came after Himanta Biswa Sarma, who was booked on charges of attempt to murder and criminal conspiracy, said he would be "very happy" to join the probe.
