Wriddhiman Saha is the second wicketkeeper in India’s Test squad as they travel to UK for the World Test Championship final against New Zealand in June and a five-match Test series against England the following month. “Rishabh Pant played the last few matches of the World Test Championship, he’s done well and he should be our first-choice keeper in England." Saha told Sportskeeda on Friday.

England Tour पर कौन विकेटकीपिंग करेगा? बड़ा सवाल है. पर शायद अब साफ़ भी हो गया है. जिस तरह से पिछली दो टेस्ट सीरिज में Rishabh Pant ने प्रदर्शन किया है. बिना किसी शक के Rishabh Pant की तरफ ही कप्तान Virat Kohli देखेंगे. पर जब खुद सीनियर विकेटकीपर ही जवाब दें. तो फिर कहने के लिए कुछ बचता नहीं है. और ये अच्छी बात भी है कि खुद Wriddhiman Saha ने कुबूला भी है. वैसे, अगर विकेटकीपिंग स्किल्स के आधार पर अब भी रिधिमान साहा Rishabh Pant से आगे हैं. पर बल्लेबाजी कुछ ख़ास नहीं होने की वजह से साहा को अब ज्यादा तरजीह नहीं दी जा रही है. पन्त ने उनकी जगह ले ली है. एक वक्त तो एक ही जगह के लिए दोनों में लड़ाई हो रही थी. पर Saha अब अपने करियर के आखिरी दौर में हैं.
