Delhi: Temperature surges to 11.4 degrees Celsius amid dense fog, cloud cover in capital

Massive fog and a cloud cover covered the national capital on Monday morning, PTI reported, quoting the India Meteorological Department. The minimum temperature in Delhi increased to 11.4 degrees Celsius, the highest in the last 22 days, as a result of the cloud cover. On Saunday, the city recieved heavy downpour along with thunderstorms due to a western disturbance in the region.Most parts of neighbouring states Haryana and Punjab also recorded above-normal minimum temperatures on Monday.
