U.S. Congress is on the brink of reaching an agreement on a second round of direct aid payments to hundreds of millions of Americans.
The anticipated stimulus legislation, which is expected to be around 900 billion U.S. dollars,... won't include corporate liability protection,... nor any state and local aid provisions.
It'll contain more unemployment insurance, small business support and another round of stimulus checks worth 600 dollars.
Lawmakers now have two days to work through the final sticking points.
