America's top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, has strongly recommended that President-elect Joe Biden get vaccinated for COVID-19 sooner rather than later.
Speaking to ABC News on Tuesday, Fauci, the head of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases stressed the importance of vaccinating Biden as well as Vice President-elect Kamala Harris for "security reasons."
The diseases expert stressed that this is to fully protect Biden as he enters the presidency in January.
Fauci, meanwhile, also recommended that President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence get vaccinated soon.
