A new record for the world’s largest swimming relay has been set in Estonia.
5-hundred-5 people took part in the giant swimming challenge,... braving the dark and freezing waters... in an open pool in the Baltic Sea.
The relay lasted for nearly five hours, covering 12-point-6 kilometers.
The youngest participant was 9-years-old and the oldest one was over 80.
Winter swimming has become increasingly popular in Estonia since COVID-19,… as people find the sport as a way to fight off boredom under restrictions.
