U.S. sees more than 2,200 COVID-19 deaths per day, highest since its peak in April

The average number of deaths from COVID-19 in the U.S. has soared to more than 2-thousand-200 a day... the highest since the country's peak in April.
Johns Hopkins University says the country saw an average of 2-thousand-237 daily COVID-19 deaths over the last seven days.
The daily number of cases has surpassed 200-thousand on average for the first time on record,... and at least 284-thousand people have died.
The U.S. is not the only place suffering,... with AFP reporting Tuesday that there are more than 20-million confirmed cases in Europe.
