The number of new COVID-19 cases in the U.S. has hit a fresh peak.
On top of that, the number of hospitalized reached a record high for the second straight day.
As of November 29th, the number was at over 93-thousand people in hospital, the highest recorded.
It is just the third time the number has topped 90-thousand.
Eighteen-thousand were in the ICU.
The spike comes as millions travelled during Thanksgiving.
So far, the U.S. has had more than 13 million confirmed cases with over 2-hundred-50-thousand deaths.
