The Level 2 social distancing measures will entail tougher restrictions on our daily lives in South Korea.
These will include a gathering ban at night-lift entertainment venues and indoor dining is to be prohibited at coffee shops.
Our Kim Hyo-sun lays out what to expect.
Refraining from going to multi-use facilities and non-essential gatherings is at the core of Level 2 social distancing,... the third-highest in South Korea's five-tier COVID-19 alert scheme.
Five types of night-life entertainment venues, including clubs, will be subject to a gathering ban.
Coffee shops can only offer takeout and delivery services.
Restaurants are allowed to serve food until 9 p.m., with only takeout and delivery services available afterwards.
Wedding halls and funeral homes will have to restrict visitor numbers to below 100.
Cinemas and theaters will have to ensure that their users sit a seat apart and make sure that consumption of food is strictly prohibited.
Similar measures are also put into place at internet cafes, however if partitions have been installed between seats,... the users do not have to sit one seat apart, and consumption of food is also allowed.
Indoor sports facilities are required to halt their operations after 9 p.m.
Schools will have to keep their attendance cap at one-third of students in kindergartens, primary schools and middle schools,... while the cap is placed at two-thirds of students in high schools.
Under the strengthened measures, sports stadiums will also have to limit their occupancy to 10 percent of their total,... while religious facilities are required to have a maximum 20 percent capacity.
Similar restriction on the number of users is also put in place at many other multi-use facilities including amusement parks, hair salons and public saunas.
