As the U.S. presidential election map takes shape - amid concerns about a possible drawn-out count in some states - the world is watching and weighing what could come next for U.S. foreign policy... and that includes its Asian allies and rivals like China.
We have joining us live from Beijing, Ken Moritsugu, News Director for China at the Associated Press. Good evening, Ken.
Ken, how are the Chinese reacting to the American election? With many issues at stake, China must be closely following the results?
Amid an array of conflicts over the Covid-19 pandemic, technology, trade, security and spying, I think it's safe to say that U.S.-China relations have plunged to their lowest level in decades.
How would a Biden presidency affect China?
What about Trump, what would a second term for Trump mean for U.S., China ties?
Ken Moritsugu of AP live for us in Beijing. Many thanks, Ken.
